How Much to Windows Cost?

A window can run as little as $200 and as much as $1500. Builders Grade windows have a relative life of just a few years (although many have stayed in place for 40 years). Wood Windows with Simulated Divided Lites and Aluminum Clad Exteriors are the most expensive of products. Vinyl Replacement Windows generally are in the middle.

Windows are much like cars. On any given day you are probably not best served by the cheapest or the most expensive. A KIA sounds good at the checkout stand but may not have the life or resale value of a more expensive product. A Hummer on the other hand is just too expensive and hard to maintain. The analogy is a good one. Most people need a product in the middle, between the two extremes.
