Bows and Bays III

The inside of a bow or bay can make your living area into a showplace. The Bow on the left is a retro-fit model unit (built in pieces). The one on the right is our Custom Bay Unit, it is built as one unit, has a hardiplank roof system, and an oak stain grade interior. It is among the more amazing of our products for adding value to your home.

This is a "cottage style" bow window. The top sash is smaller than the bottom sash. In Texas they are usually orioles. Orioles are windows with taller top sashes and smaller bottom sashes. They are often called 60-40 split orioles. This means 40% is in the bottom sash. Usually this translates to a 30" bottom sash. Seven and Eight foot tall units will usually have consistant sash heights.
